After many years on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean we finally decided to drop anchor in the centre of Old Antibes.
We fell in love with this town: quiet and full of the charm of the Cote d'Azur, home to boats of all sizes, from small fishing vessels to some of the most beautiful yachts in the world, including classical sailing yachts.
Our home is in the pretty "Commune Libre du Safranier" in the heart of the historical centre of Old Antibes. It is a stone's throw from the "Remparts", from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea, and the bustle of the "Marché provençal".
In 2008 we bought a small fisherman's house on the rue Castelet, and somewhat later a picturesque apartment, and then another…
With our love of the sea we wanted to make our house a warm and inviting home with a marine theme. What could be more natural than to inspire the marine spirit of this charming town into all of our renovations as well?
You will find this spirit in all of our apartments. They are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, with renovated Provençal furniture. The best materials have been used for this renovation, the apartments are decorated with various objects related to the sea.
Once you are there you don't need a car! Our apartments are all in pedestrian streets. So put your suitcases away and leisurely explore Antibes on foot. You will feel very comfortable and at ease in the environment of the old town as we like it…
Every morning you can experience the atmosphere of the "Marché provençal" which is only a couple of hundred metres away. Have a slice of socca and a glass of cold rosé!
Enjoy the white sand beaches of the Gravette or Ponteil. Have a romantic walk along the "Remparts" overlooking the Mediterranean, or a walk around the "Cap d’Antibes".
You can visit the Picasso museum, stroll around the enormous yacht port, and at the end of the day try local dishes in one of the many restaurants in the old town.
